Oil India Limited (OIL) invites applications from eligible candidates from its production and exploration areas in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh for recruitment to the under mentioned posts.

#   In addition to reservation of posts for SC, ST, and OBC (Non Creamy Layer), posts will also be reserved for PWD/ Ex- serviceman as pre Government guidelines.
*  Land affected category includes those persons whose land were acquired by OIL orior to 20th June 1990 Unfilled posts of land-affected category vacancies will be merged with the local-man category .
     ** OIL Employee s Sons category includes the following
a)      Sons of Employee died while in service (b) Sons of Employee discharged on medical ground (c) Sons of Employee died after retirement (d) Sons of retired employees (e) Sons of employees who took VRS as well as Premature Voluntary Retirement on Medical Ground.

B. Essential Educational Qualification: Must have passed HSLC from recognized board.

C. Age Limit (As on 01.08.2012): 
             Minimum 18 (eighteen) years and maximum 35 (thirty five) years for Unreserved category candidates.
               Relaxation for the reserved candidates.
SC/ ST by 5 years and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) by 3 years.
PWD/ Ex-Servicemen is as pre Government directives.

E. Selection Procedure:
             Only those candidates who fulfill the cnteria mentioned in this notification as on 01-08-2014 shall be called for Screening test. Those who obtain 30% marks & above in Screening test will qualify for interview/ Viva-voice. The selection will based in order of ment on the basis of  the marks obtained in interview/viva-voice.

F. General Conditions:
a)  Candidates already employed must apply through proper channel or produce “No Objection Certificate” and all candidate whether employed or not, must produce Permanent Residence Certificate, Localman Certificate issued by appropriate authority at the time of interview/viva-voice.
b) Candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBC (NCL) and PWD category will have to produce valid certificates in original issued by the appropriate authority at the time of interview/viva-voive.
c) The candidature of a candidate will be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process, if his certificates/testimonials etc. are found to be false. Names of such candidates will be blacklisted for applying against any post in OIL in future.
d) Final appointment of the provisionally selected candidate in the  Company will be subject to complying with Company’s prescribed pre-employment formalities i.e verification of certificates, pre-employment medical examination,  Police verification report of character & antecedents and after compliance with all other formalities as per the Recruitment Policy and rules of the Company
e) Canvassing in any form whether directly or indirectly shall amount to rejection of candidature.
f) Management reserves the right to cancel the entire process of recruitment without assigning any reason thereof.
g) Notifications to the employment exchanges of Dibrugarh, Duliajan, Namrup, Tinsukia, Digbou, Doomfooma, Moranhat, Sonari in Assam and Miao in Arunachal Predesh covering the OIL’s  production  and exploration areas have already been issued for sponsoring eligible candidates
h)  Eligible candidates from oil’s production and exploration areas can also apply as per the application format given below. However if the candidate’s name is sponsored by the concerned employment exchange, then his application filed separately  will be treated as cancelled.
i) If a candidate’s name is registered under the concerned Employment Exchange then he should mention the Employment Exchange’s name and valid Registration number in the application.
j) Incomplete application will be summery rejected
k) Candidate should submit applications by ordinary post only. Applications submitted through speed post shall not be accepted.
