Applications are invited from the citizen of India as defined in Article 5-8 of the Constitution of India in Standard Format of application as published in Part-IX of Assam Gazette for filling up following posts under the Registar of Cooperative Societies, Assam.

Name of Post: Junior Assistant (L.D. Asstt.)

 No of Post: 6 (likely to be increased)

Educational and other Qualifications: HSSLC examination passed or equivalent with Diploma in English and Assamese typing writing with a speed of 40 & 30 Word Per Minute respectively. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Age: 18 to 38

i)                    Candidates shall not less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2014. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST(P)/SC(H) candidates.
ii)                  The candidates must have registered their name in Employment Exchange and registration No. and date must be mentioned in their application.
iii)                The applications should enclose with copies of all testimonials regarding qualification, Age, Cast, Employment Exchange registration card etc. and the candidate will declare on the body of the certificate, mark sheet etc. as “Certified to be true copy of the original” along with 2 copies of recent size pass port size photograph duly signed by the candidate.
iv)                A self address envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- must be enclosed with the application.
v)                  Candidates must mention the name of the post for which applied for on the top of the covered envelop.
vi)                Candidate already in service should apply through proper channel.
vii)              Reservation for SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/Physically Handicapped and Women candidates as per policy of Govt. of Assam.
viii)            The complete application in all respect should be submitted through post or directly to the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Assam, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 (Samabai Bhawan) on or before 01/01/2014 during office hours.
ix)                The candidates will be selected through written test and oral interview. The shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for an oral interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by the candidate in both written test and oral interview. The written test will be on 150 marks.
x)                  No. TA/DA will be paid admissible for attending the test/interview.
xi)                Incomplete application and application receipt after the last date of submission shall summarily be rejected.
xii)              Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.
xiii)            Other conditions of service including pensionery benefits will be governed by the Rules/order as may be issued by the State Government.
