Applications are invited from the intending candidates for filling up of the post Junior Assistant which are lying vacant under the amalgamated establishment of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Kamrup Metropolitan District. The applications should be submitted in the standard form as published in Assam Gazette in part- IX
on before 02.02.2015 up to 4:15 P.M in the drop box kept for the purpose in Nazarat Branch (ground floor) in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Metropolitan District, Guwahati. No application will be received after expiry of the date and time.

Education Qualification: H.S.L.C Passed.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200.00 – 20,200.00 + G.P- 2,200.00 (PB-2) per month plus other allowances as admissible as per rules.

Age: than 18 years or more than 38 years (Relaxation is available as per rule)

Last Date:  02.02.2015 up to 4:15 P.M


  1. Candidates must be Indian citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the constitution of India.
  2. Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment and registration numbers along with the dates must be mentioned in their applications.
  3. Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel.
  4. Candidates must not be less than 18 years or more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2015. The upper age is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST.
  5. The application must be accompanied by the following:
    1. Attested copies of recent passport size photograph duly attested by Gazetted officer.
    2. The application will enclose a self addressed envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- along with the application.
  6. Applications and other documents should be put inside an envelope on which the applicant should clearly mention the post appear for.
  7. Incomplete application will be rejected. No application will be entertained after scheduled last date.
  8. Candidates who desire to be considered on ground of having rendered service/continuing in Deputy Commissioner’s Office may apply as per norms and submit their documents showing detailed record of service on casual/wages basis along with their applications.
  9. The selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the Appointing Authority that they will abide by new Pension Rules of the Govt. issued vide Finance Department’s letter No. BW-3/03/Pt.-II/1 dtd. 25.01.2005
  10. The appointment shall be made after keeping due reservation of the vacancies for SC,ST(P), ST(H) candidates as per govt. guideline and maintaining roster point as required.
  11. All appointments will be made after police verification as per procedure.
  12. No TA/DA will be admissible for the appearing in the written test/interview.
  13. Procedure of selection: The applicant for the post of Junior Assistant whose application is found in order will be called for written Examination to be held at place and date to be notified later on. Only those candidates who have qualified in the written test will be called for viva-voice. The examination for the post of Junior Assistant will considered following as detailed below as per schedule 1 (Rule 6(5) (a))
