Application are invited in prescribed form of application as published in the Assam Gazette pt-IX from the intending candidates for recruitment to Grade-III post against the office stated below.
Name of Post: Junior Assistant
No of Post: 4 [ST(P)-1, UR-3]

Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C. passed with diploma in type writing both.

Name of Office: Director Design, Irrigation Department, Chandmari, Guwahati-9

Scale of Pay: 5,200 – 20,200, GP – 2,200

  1. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in articles 5-8 of the Constitution of India.
  2. The candidate must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange and the Registration No. and Date must be mentioned in their application.
  3. Candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
  4. Candidates must not be less than 18 years or more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2015. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of reserved community candidate.
  5. The application with attested copies of all testimonials regarding qualification, age, caste, employment exchange etc. along with 3 copies of recent passport size photograph duly signed by the candidates should reach in the respective office as indicated above on or before 16th February 2015.
  6. A written test will be held for 100 marks for 3 hours duration (Eng-35, Mathematics-35, General Knowledge- 30 marks).
  7. The date of written examination and venue will be mentioned in the calling letters to be issued to the candidates in time.
  8. Successful candidates in written test will be called for viva voice and typing test.
  9. A self addressed envelope of 10*4.5 affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- (five) most be enclose with the application.
  10. No T.A/D.A will be admissible for attending the test/interview.

Conditions:
  1. The appointees will be abide by the Govt. new pension rules.
  2. Incomplete application shall summarily be rejected.
  3. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.
  4. The application with other testimonials/documents should be put inside an envelope properly sealed.
  5. Name of the post applied for shall be mentioned on the top of the envelope containing the application.
  6. Application received after the scheduled date fixed will not be entertained.
  7. Delay in transit/delivery of the application or call letters etc. by. P&T Department will not be a responsibility of this directorate.
