Recruitment of different positions under Would Bank assisted Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Project (Neer Nirmal Pariyojana) under PHED, Assam
Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Assam with assistance from the World Bank is
currently engaged in implementation and sustainable maintenance of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project in seven districts of Jorhat, Kamrup(M), Hailakandi, Bongaigaon, Sivasagar, Sonitpur and Morigaon, Assam.

Applications to fill up various vacant positions in prescribed format as per Annexure-A along with all relevant self-attested testimonials are invited from eligible candidates for the under noted contractual positions so as to reach the office latest by 15th July, 2017.

1. Name of Post: Finance Specialist
No of Post: 6
Qualification and Experiences:
i)                    MCOM/MBA (Finance)/ CA/ ICWA or equivalent
ii)                  Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in budgeting Accounting, financial management for large scale programmes/ projects etc.
iii)                Experience of working in government programmes or extemally added projects preferred.
iv)                Must be computer literate, knowledge of tally software will be an added advantage.
v)                  Exceptional degree of integrity, Judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
vi)                Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
Remuneration: Rs.5.04 lakh per annum.

2. Name of Post: Sanitation Specialist
No of Post: 4
Qualification and Experiences:
i)                    Master degree in Engineering, Social Science, Environmental Science, water and sanitation or a related field.
ii)                  3 years of professional development experience in the WASH sector and significant project management experience.
iii)                Experience in implementing, designing, or coordinating WASH in rural community.
iv)                Familiarity with community-based sanitation programs and with a diversity of latrine designs for rural communities.  
v)                  Knowledge of SLWM technology options and experience in implementing SLWM activities in rural areas.
vi)                Exceptional degree of integrity, Judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
vii)              Fluency in English, Hindi and local language is necessary and desirable.
viii)            Willing to travel extensively in rural areas.
Remuneration: Rs5.04 lakh per annum.

3. Name of Post: LDA Accounts
No of Post: 1
Qualification and Experiences:
i)                    Graduate in commerce from a recognized Institute.
ii)                  Minimum 2 years of relevant post qualification experience in budgeting financial management, account, and audit.
iii)                Candidates working in similar capacity in government projects/ PSU/ Externally aided projects will be given preference.
iv)                Experience in working with Tally software.
v)                  Sound knowledge of Government Accounting, Income Tax, VAT and other Taxation matters.
vi)                Exceptional degree of integrity, judgement and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
vii)              Must be computer literate and should have knowledge MS-Office, Internet, e-mail etc.
viii)            Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
Remuneration: Rs.20,000-25,000 (Inclusive of all incentives)

4. Name of Post: Office Assistant
No of Post: 1
Qualification and Experiences:
a)      Graduate in any stream from recognized institute.
b)      Minimum 1 year of relevant post qualification experience in office administration/ file management / office correspondence etc.
c)      Must be computer literate and should have diploma in computer application and type writing.
d)     Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
Remuneration: 10,000/- PM

Age: The upper age limit is restricted to 45 years as on 01.01.2017.

Last date: 15th July, 2017.

The remuneration for the above mentioned posts will be subject to negotiations, performance, skill and delivery. Only shoutlisted candidates will be called for interview/ written test.
